Results 4-23-15 Super-S Club

Congratulations to all winners!  Welcome to WGPO EC Chairman Larry Rand and to his lovely wife, Barbara Van Alen! ).   Renee Kahn won all 3 games and found a high scoring bingo word QUINTES at 147 points.  Barbara won the highest cum score at 2828 after 3 games, and she played the most bonus words, 11 bingos.  Pat Reed won the high game score of 1114 of the day.  Pat will pick up her award next meeting.

wordjudgeusa.com site got updated recently.  There’s a photo taken in December 2014 worth viewing—the Super-S Club (nickname of Superscrabble Club) group in action.

Send a request for your free copy of PDF file by submitting your current email address and residence address to: maliha@wordjudgeusa.com.  The updated PDF version contains Appendix A where the new words are listed. You can open the PDF in your ibooks library for iMac, iPad, iPhones, and similar devices.  If you have a PC the APP called WGPO-WJ2 is now ready to download from wgpo-wj2.com.  I ignored the antivirus warnings, so it’s working now in my PC laptop with Win7.  I trusted David de Hilster who established the site and developed the APP for us to use during our games.  The parameter for letter input can handle words with up to 21-letters.  It can judge a multiple-word play.

The instant reward for finding 12- to 13-letter words is now worth $45 (the last three individuals who won the contents of this pot were:  Pat Reed, Najat Reikes, and Bill Lapinski.  The pot for words with 14 to 15+ letters will have $315.  Play the assigned categories.  To qualify for an instant reward, the word must contain 5 letters.  Winning 3 games will have the $15 reward.

1st game category:   PICNIC words — useful things you take along used during picnic somewhere in the park, beach, forest, desert, etc.

2nd game category:  PETS you want to have, including names of species – birds, reptiles, puppy, etc.

3rd game category:  PLACES you want to visit:  desert, forest, cemetery, theater, church, museum, anchorage, stadium, garden, stores, malls, etc.
