SUPER-S STATS 5-21-15 GAMES

Standard

Nancy Douglas and Bill Lapinski won the contents of the 12- to 13-letter-word pot playing Super Scrabble® games! This is the 4th time for this event to happen here. Nancy’s hooks were CERT+IN across Bill’s previous downward play MANATEES. Not a bingo score, but at Super-S, we not only consider bingos, we do think harder about how to make a short word longer. We tend to “tickle” the neurons in our brain. Nancy’s CERTAIN; Bill’s hooked his UN making it UNCERTAIN; next Nancy hooked her TIES making UNCERTAINTIES emerge with 13 letters to show. It was an ebullient moment shared and an inspiration to all word game players.

Congratulations to all winners!  Roy Kamen won 3 games, high cum =3073 (award is ready to pick up), and found a high scoring bingo CLUSTERS =140 points.  Gretchen Cowan also won 3 games (award is waiting for pick up). Pat Reed scored the high game =1147 with 14 bingos. Several players found the words assigned for each game’s category. Nancy completed the longest word of the day, and shared the reward with Bill for “UNCERTAINTIES.” We celebrated Tom Titus’ Happy Bday May 26 in advance.

Phony is indicated with an asterisk (*).

Send a request for your free PDF file by submitting your current email address and residence address to: maliha@wordjudgeusa.com.  For  PCs with Windows, the APP called WGPO-WJ2 is now ready to download from wgpo-wj2.com.  Click “Launch.” It’s working now in my PC laptop with Win 7.  I trusted David de Hilster who established the site and developed the APP for us to use during our games.  David is working on Mac version as well as for iPhones and similar devices.  The number of letter-parameter can handle up to 21-letter words.

See a photo where you might be in it.  Visit wordjudgeusa.com and check out the updated site.  There’s a rack featured in it.  Guess whose?  Download the app from wgpo-wj2.com click “launch” when it pops up.  Don’t worry there’s no virus. Test yourself as to how many words you can play that are acceptable, both old and new.  Try entering 7 words for multiple play; don’t forget to put a space in between.  Hit the “Clear” button before entering another word to be judged.  Judge to find out if your word is good or bad.  Try a very long word such as STRAIGHTFORWARDNESSES.
