RESULTS: 3-22-18 Superscrabble Games

Standard

CONGRATS to all winners!  PAT REED won 3 games, and finishing with 11 bingos.  AMNON MEYERS won 3 games, 10 bingos, and 1 (one) High-Scoring-Bingo MERCHANT=185.  Please note that the 3-game winners are excluded from the High-Cum and High-Point game awards to exercise fairness amongst players.

DAVID PODER won the High-Game points=1055, the High-Cum=2880, and finishing with 12 bingos. NOTE: Awards will be in an envelope for pick up next time.  YUKI LORITZ won the Mostest Bingos=16, after 3 games.  DON PLATT won the High-Scoring Non=Bingo word ADZED=97.  RENÉE KAHN played 5 category words; she did it again, beating NAJAT REIKES who found 4 category words.  FLASH announcement:  An additional prize of $5 will be awarded to whoever plays the mostest bingo words after 3 games.  This is an encouragement for players to study their 7-letter-words more often.  For example:  If a player has 16 bingo words, he/she will receive an additional $5 for the achievement.  However, please remember that Superscrabble Club was created with the intent to learn more long and longer words which is an extremely challenging brain exercise.

We missed Gretchen Cowan, but wishing her safe travel home. Also enjoyed seeing Lynn Gunn looking great and recovering from all cancer screening which she passed.  Thanks to the LORD of the universe, the highest MIND.  We sang belated “Happy Birthday” to Joanie Scafuto and Fern Trausch, and advance H.Bday to Don Platt who will be celebrating his birthday on March 30. Thanks to Gary Moss for playing double due to uneven pairing at the start of the games.  The prize distribution totaled $246.  We all had a fantastic time. Everyone should now feel that the Superscrabble Games is not just a convergence of intelligent scrabblers; it is more like a “family-get-together,” a very informal and friendly atmosphere.  Like in your  own home, you should feel free to look for something you need in the kitchen, or pick a fresh herb from the garden for your special tea and medicinal libation.
