4-24-14 SUPERSCRABBLE STATS

Standard

April 24 is an unforgettable day for Bob Agnew. I didn’t believe him when he said that the most used book in his home nowadays is WORD JUDGE USA. His incredible performance proved that reading all types of words…from very short to very long…can actually improve the chance of winning in our favorite mind sport. After 19 months (from 9/6/2012 thru 4/24/2014) he won all 3 games of Superscrabble (SS). Bob=779 and Pat Y=727; Bob=847 and Najat=816; Bob=857 and Tom=829. Three games of SS may be equivalent to playing 6 standard Scrabble games. Everyone thought he retired a long time ago from "scrabble-kingdom" but when SS Club began in 2012 he started playing again. Congratulations, Bob! Bill Lapinski: High game=1128 points, plus finding 15 bingo words. Tom Titus: High bingo word=140 for MINSTER. Renee Kahnearned her bejeweled SS rack featuring blue topaz with almandine after playing SS over 30 times. Happy scrabbling, Renee!
